Someone trying to find anything to put people in the wrong. It would be understandable but that picture was taken over 3 years ago.

I don't understand why they have apologised. "Sorry for not being able to predict the future."
The saddo who scrolled through three years of tweets to find something just to get a load of likes should apologise for having no life.

Don't do twitter what's happened? They posted a picture on twitter of their owner (port vale owner) stood next to a helicopter on the Vale pitch with the line
"our chairman is better than yours"
It was posted back in 2015..

We seem to live in an era where people have completely forgotten what context is. They just see, share and react.
Twitter is just horrible.

It's staggering that people so readily believe what they see on social media.
Scary that peoples' votes on things such as Brexit can be decided by a picture of Dad's Army and a catchy slogan.

We seem to live in an era where people have completely forgotten what context is. They just see, share and react. Twitter is just horrible. It also does a lot of good. It was social media this week that helped expose the racist bully who was filmed 'waterboarding' a Syrian refugee and then it was also social media which recorded Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, the tinpot little fascist prick, on Facebook Live making up fake stories about the Syrian boy assaulting a young girl. The mother of the girl in question came out and said it was a total lie and now the family of the Syrian boy have started legal proceedings against 'Robinson'. Every cloud...

You could say that because of social media that these things are being filmed in the first place. I don’t know, I use social media as much as anyone, but I can’t help thinking we’d be a happier society if we just woke up one morning and it wasn’t there anymore.

If it wasn't being filmed, it would still happen. Happy slapping may have become a thing with the take up of mobile phones but kids will bully. thats life.

They did a study in Denmark and those who didn't use social media for a period of time became much happier from not being on it. Article below: www.theguardian.com/media/2015/nov/10/week-off-facebook-denmark-likes-this-happiness-friendsThe Syrian lad's article and subsequent comments from Twitter users makes for depressing reading.
