Just seen on bbc fixtures that there's a round of the women's FA Cup today and I wondered if our ladies enter this competition

Yes we did, we were beaten 7-0 by Tranmere in the preliminary round.

Ouch To be honest I'd quite surprised to read that Tranmere are only one tier above us, as they used to be one of the big forces in women's football. Looking at the Wikipedia article on the Women's FA Cup, there were a few bigger defeats than that in the preliminary round, including Bradford PA losing 14-0.
