Watching saturday brought home to me how much we need a strong personality in the dugout and bench area. With Shaw there McCarthy never once approached the 3rd official and was very quiet. Second half the other fella stood there (think it was Davey Felgate) but again Macca stood and observed mainly. Callum Mccintyre did the subs and hes the youth coach? The situation now with Iwelumo has got beyound a joke. Hes never there, seems to had little influence with the team as they have gone worse since Sharpsey left, and is always on channel five. Stealing money whoever little its meant to be. Macca needs someone there to kick ass. Some of them players were taking the piss on saturday, and need a kick up the arse and i don't think macca is the man to do that. Hes a great coach but needs someone to work with and bounce off on match days. The players not coming over to clap the lads on the Mac to the left of us was bad. Them lads never shut up all game despite it being rubbish.
