Sad, but unsurprising, news that Airbus plan to stop making A380's. Not too sure how drastic an impact it will have at Broughton but it's more uncertainty they don't need just now.
Airbus have been a bit unlucky with this in my view. Back in the late 90's it did seem that with ever growing passenger numbers, bigger planes were the obvious answer. It was just that by the time the A380 was available, technology was already making smaller planes with advanced engines more economically viable.
