That's splendid. Doesn't it feel good to be useful. Imagine how it would feel if you printed off the announcement on facebook and twitter and asked your good wife to put it in the shop. Don't do Facebook or twitter. Maybe you could do it for me, superstar volunteer. I promise not to litter at home matches any more so you can get home earlier.

What a shame.

professional company ! That's even worse. I'll give it a month before it stops As soon as the club announces something positive someone is always quick to knock them down. I went to the first car boot and there were a few there and if you have a look at the flyers it is in the afternoon so not competing with the countess. Give the club a break for God' sake if it lasts a month, it lasts a month who cares as long as we are trying. You're so right Bobbyjo. If someone gave us money some would complain. 'Didn't earn it, will only go on higher contracts to the same players....etc, etc.' Even when we were winning some complained we didn't deserve it, lucky win, they were still crap..... It's our team and those that are trying deserve all our praise for every extra pound they make.

Some good comments there. I've seen a few clowns at the Racecourse lately as well.

Must admit, when I heard the circus was at the ground that I feared 3-4 pages after the game of people moaning the car park was full, and the queue down Bumpers Lane was awful etc... However nothing, so I assume there was nothing to worry about in the end ?

There was a circus van putting up posters around the rural areas near Mickle Trafford yesterday.
Don't think people in general were too bothered that the car park was full due to something like the circus being there. They understand it is good for the club. What makes my bloody boil is when I've had to queue for 30 minutes to get into the car park, get greeted by a bunch of miserable car parking attendants and find just one guy on the gate. It worked very well when the two guys were taking money. Get people in the car park and they go for a few pints before the match and spend money with the club. You then have another ridiculous queue to get out. All for crowds of 1500 people. God help us if we actually got decent crowds.
I've now got to the point where I save myself a couple of quid and park down the road. Just can't be arsed with the whole car park hassle. Trouble is, some people won't just park down the road. They won't bother at all.

It's not as though there were too many people at the game to inconvenience, in fairness.
