Been there twice and seen us lose 6-2 and 6-0 all in the space of about 6 months.
I'll be at Maidstone and Torquay though.

Good luck to the hardy blues who make it. I can't wait for Lincoln on 11th March.

You'd be better off spending the £65 in the blues bar or club superstore than handing it over to a train company.

And we get to see the blues in action !

Gordon Bennett I thought we were in Austerity - Respect to those making the journey but for a hundred and twenty quid I could obtain a top class lady of the night and still have change

If it's on then at least they seem to have improved the away facilities since we were last there, a new stand having replaced the open away terrace. Seen us play there a few times and never found it as enjoyable as many other away trips, not helped by our poor record there and also being on the Hipkiss the time it arrived after kick-off.

Yep, having to run down four or five streets of terraced housing I seem to recall - Hipkiss arrived at 3:05pm for a 0-0 IIRC. Also the successive six-goal horrors. I'm glad I'm not going this time around!!

Three of us will be there as a nice local one for us. Hoping for better than the 6-0 drubbing first day of the season in 2008! Will be keeping an eye on the weather though, a lot of rain this week with a lot more forecast.

Benefit of these London(ish) trips on the train is that they are pretty quick. Could be back in Chester for 8pm all going well even with a bit of a break in journey in London.
Like to make a bit of a day of it overall though, so prefer these to local games!

Easy one for me as a Southern exile. Straight onto M25 and round to Dagenham in an hour or so. UTS!
