Anybody going to the anti-Trump demo at Town Hall Square tonight? Thinking of going myself if anyone would like to join me.

Would definitely have gone but no childcare this evening.

Briefly went to the one in Liverpool last night before my daughter got bored. Couple of hundred there and a good atmosphere.

Just seen him on TV help a little lad who is lost in one of the biggest cities in the world and being chased by two criminals. Deserves a bit of credit for that.

His visit is coming across as a very staged PR exercise to me, not to mention a timely bit of alt-right campaigning for the likely future direction of the UK government.
And then there's the small matter of the NHS.

Not sure why there had to be protests in Portsmouth yesterday though. It wasn't about Trump yesterday, it was about honoring those heroes who put their lives on the line and to whom we will be indebted to forever.

I'd tend to agree, but at the same time, it's pretty offensive him being over here on D-Day at all. President Donald Trump is not exactly what we fought for.

Maybe he’s come over to get lessons in class, humility, dignity and bravery from the Veterans. In all seriousness he’s here because American (along with Canadian) troops played a big part in D-Day and he’s the head of state.

During the war, the Americans, when they finally joined in the conflict, were referred to as: "Yanks - oversexed, overpaid, overfed and over here." All of which perfectly fit Trump!

He's here because the Conservative Party are about to select a new leader and he has a vested interest in it being some arsehole like Johnson or Rees-Mogg who will happily flog off everything we have to them.

Oh, I would so love to post disagreeing with your ....... remark. But as we know you have the power and aren’t afraid to exercise it.
