Well done to Calum Mcintyre's boys who have reached the NWYA open cup final today after thumping Skelmersdale 8-2 away. Whenever I get chance to see them play at the County Officers they are a joy to watch and some players wouldn't look out of place in the first team right now. If anyone is free in a Sunday afternoon, why not head up to the County Officers to watch our Youth team play. It would be worth it.

Well done CFC Under 18's again, as they beat Warrington 5-1. Nathan Brown definitely looked effective down the left wing and looks ready to have a crack at the first team soon 🔵⚪.

It would be nice to see 1 or 2 youth lads on bench and getting a bit of game time now we're pretty much safe, surely better than having injured players or people who may not be retained on bench !
Our board must try and find a way of funding a reserve/ development squad next season as our youth players need somewhere to go when too old for youth football . We have lots of promising young lads who will probably be let go in the summer as they are not quite ready for a pro contract yet !

They play Curzon Ashton at the County Officer's today at 14:30. If anyone isn't busy come down to watch some good football.

Great 2-1 win today which takes us closer to being top. Curzon were a very dirty team though. For most of the second half they wasted time but it paid off with a victory. Get in!
