What happened to George Green At Boston ? has he ever played for them? I was hoping when he came to us he could re kick start his career. Sadly that never happened and as time went on it was clear he still had massive issues, Boston must be last chance saloon for him. I hope he is trying to turn things around for the sake of his wife and daughter.

Injured again by the looks of it. Up the seals is holding a candle vigil for him at the cathedral.

Apparently he stormed down the tunnel a few weeks ago after they’d made their final sub and he wasn’t used. He was dropped from the squad for their next game, but the manager dismissed any fall out and said he was simply injured.

Shame really as I doubt many clubs will touch him if he messes this chance up, I was hoping he would turn things around with us. As sad as it is it does appear he is hitting the self destruct button again, I hope not for his wife's and daughters sake as it is them that will suffer.

Id question whether the 'last chance saloon' has been and gone for a multi million pound footballer now struggling to get a game in the regional leagues.
Wish him all the best in getting his life on track with his family.

I didn't think it was a great move for him in all honesty. It's a long way to travel for training and matches if all you're getting is the odd 5 minutes off the bench. He might have been better served dropping a level and finding a more local club, which would give him the chance to show what he's about. Hopefully he can get himself some game time and finally start justifying the faith that many have had in him.

I wonder how much his attitude affected team spirit last season. It is probably coincidence that when he was finally fit our season went cold but he put a lot of pressure on people when he was constantly mouthing off at them when clearly frustrated at his own performance. If he was like that on the pitch can't think what he must have been like off it.

I think a drop in division would help him, but sometimes some players have all the ability in the world but just cant get back to the levels they one were. Everytime he played for us he seemed to intense, I always remember after FC United away when he got sent off he was in the car parking ranting and raving about it - a complex character.

I'm sure I read that Boston were training in Doncaster to attract players. I'm sure he lives near there as well so I'm not sure whether the wonderkid can blame travelling as an issue.
He's just never kicked on from being a very good junior and is just going to live off a reputation as a supposed wonderkid.
