Some shockers there epitomised by “Wolf of Wall Street”.
Ones I would have chosen would include “The Imitation Game”, “Hacksaw Ridge”, “In Bruges”, “Snatch”, “This is England”.

It is a very dark series and in one scene I had to turn it off but the acting is phenomenal. On a lighter note I’m going to add “Zombieland” to my list. The Bill Murray scene is hilarious.

I see the Guardian has also done a best albums of the century list - www.theguardian.com/music/2019/sep/13/100-best-albums-of-the-21st-century. I'm more of a music buff than film, but for me that's a dire list for more reasons than I care to mention.

Incredible to see Under the Skin at number 4. I'm relentless when it comes to persisting with shite films until the end but even I had to switch that inane nonsense off after about an hour. Truly awful film.

Fight club for the unexpected ending & Dr Strangelove because, well, it’s Dr Strangelove. Who can forget the lines of Peter Sellars when he says “”Gentlemen, gentleman, you cant fight in here, this is the War room..........” pure class.
