I'm surprised that nwas would resort to this. Mccarthy can name me all day long if it helps him fire him and the team - a critical win today and I'm relieved we needed that win but I maintain we need new blood next season to kick on at least 6 new faces required with 6 out

It seems to me that all the mods want is to get as many posts as possible on this site to prove that they are better than the original, albeit over-moderated DC. For a board that is supposed to be for fans of the Club to have, within weeks of it being set up, totally lost the confidence and good wishes of that club, shows that it is rapidly becoming unfit for purpose.

So I take it you are an overweight gentleman Not strictly so. The Wii Fit says I am with a BMI of 26.1 and my Mii has a rotund centre. The reality is I'm a pretty handy runner for my age and can sub 1hr 30 at half marathon and came in the top 300 in the Snowdonia marathon last year. And I've got a voice like Barry White. The original post by NWAS was obviously tongue in cheek. After my delight of seeing the win on Sky Sports app I jokingly thought whether Macca would mention "Shunter Blue" again in his post match interview. How many other managers would mention a message board's poster in a pre-match interview?
I'm saying nothing but positives now in case I get shouted down by one of those all round bronzed Adonis' Tony Allen and Piercy!

This is not the first time he's called out a fan. After the Maidstone loss, when we switched to 4-4-2 and then won 2-0 whilst using this tactic, I tweeted Macca saying 4-4-2 please!! The next Friday night football show he called me out saying he wouldn't listen to what I have to say. I follow this team round the country and thats what I get for pointing out the obvious, cheers Macca. All this voluntary work I've done for you match posters etc
Oh well, McCarthy in. Up the seals.

Is Shunter Blue not on the other Deva Chat? Maybe Jon was actually talking about the older message board and not this one! 😂😂 I know (well I think...) that he does post on here under a different name but that would have to have been some bizarre stalking by whoever passed on his name to Jon McCarthy.
I think that this shows how "mid-table" we have been this season that the main talking point currently is about Shunter Blue on a message board. On a side note, I know Shunter and he is one of the most loyal blues out there. Home and away pretty much without fail. Maybe sometimes a bit of a pessimist over Chester but after 50 odd years supporting Chester it can be a long, hard slog at times.
