To add balance to the awful companies thread, I thought I’d start one where people can share positive experiences with businesses. To start, I’d like everyone to know that the wonderful people at Falafel Express on Watergate Street are opening 11 - 5 on Christmas Day and are offering free meals to any homeless people who are going hungry. Not only is their food delicious, the people working there are trying to help the most vulnerable in society.

Don't know what I am talking about, no parents at 15, found a job, found a flat, did I go begging on the street, no got on with it and sorted myself out. To be honest getting fed up with the show pity to those that can't be arsed brigade.

Homelessness has risen tenfold in the last 9 years - I think there are probably some pretty fundamental structural reasons for that beyond there being a supposedly huge increase in what you seem to think is just people being idle?

I recall your righteous anger over Councils not allowing plastic poppies on lampposts, yet your compassion is sadly lacking for actual veterans.

Went to a place called Squash in Toxteth last week that's doing something similar on Christmas Day. And chislenko2, stop being such a melt.
