I second that! If anyone has a free evening pop down to Rivacre Park in what should be an exciting game.

I'm sorry to report that Heswall won 11-10 on penalties, but that's not to say that the youth team have done us proud. Unlucky lads!

Results wise for the youth team for as many good results we've had some very bad ones.
All the hard work in the FA Cup then to lose to Broxbourne Boro?!
Surely we should be beating Heswall too? I'd expect our Youth team to beat their first team
The standard we're playing at we should really be dominating it seems there is only Altrincham who are way near us over the last few years.
I can't knock the development of players but overall results wise etc doesn't seem to have been a great season for the Youth team.
At the level we are competing at currently I doubt any other team have a full time manager!
I think it's fair to say some results haven't been that good considering we are probably the strongest team at the level we're playing at

The team was made up of 16/17 year olds it's all part of their development, the older lads who form the nucleus of the youth team weren't eligible to play in this cup.

The Youth team have had a great season and still someone has to slate them. Every team has one or two disappointing results but their is no need to criticise a group of players who have beaten Bolton and Fleetwood in the Youth Cup. Just to get the facts right it was the under 16/17's who played last night against an older age group. They were more than a match for them and they did well to get where they were against older lads. Success doesn't seem to count for some 🙄.

They were very strong at home on a very poor surface which suited their style of play.

Unbelievable that lad! Talking out of your arse! Were you at the game? If you were did you count how many saves our keeper actually had to make in the entire 120 minutes? How many opportunities we had and how last ditch blocks they made? The youngsters pretty much dominated start to finish but paid the price for not bring clinical enough in front of goal. Shit happens, thats football and for you to criticise them is laughable, absolute clown

And I'm guessing it is somebody who has an agenda of some sort. Im sure there are improvements that can be made with regards to the youth set up but it's still a set up we can be very proud of. Today the junior teams went to Port Vale and gave a great account of themselves.
