Listening to Talksport yesterday and Danny Murphy blaming the fact that football clubs don’t offer enough support to their players for Dele Alli posting a ‘funny’ snapchat about the coronavirus. Yes because Tottenham should be held responsible for a stupid comment made by a stupid footballer.

I don't really understand why the FA feels the need to "investigate" incidents like this. It has nothing to do with football. Let Tottenham, as his employer, decide whether he's behaved in the manner they expect of him.

Deli Alli is overrated anyway.
Players with too much time on their hands and too much money.

Do clubs have a social media policy? Surely they must train their players to steer away from the likes of Harvey Elliott / Jessi Lingaard type nonsense?!

The thing is he could have sent the comment to a mate who then puts it out to everyone it’s very easy to see how it might happen even for an old codger like me.

Do clubs have a social media policy? Surely they must train their players to steer away from the likes of Harvey Elliott / Jessi Lingaard type nonsense?! 'A standard Premier League/Football League contract states at clause 3.2.5 that players must not knowingly or recklessly do, write or say anything which is likely to bring his club or the game of football into disrepute It is evident from The FA’s disciplinary approach to the use of social media that both itself and the clubs are keen to ensure that their brand and reputation are not damaged by inappropriate use of such sites' - www.thepfa.com/players/social-media
