O'Brien did well against Tranmere for 20 minutes. He then started against Macc, and was awful. Played like he'd been pulled out of the crowd to play. He'd had a couple of those performances last season too. Remember Tranmere at home?
I reckon Macca felt he couldn't trust him after that, and told him there will be no contract for next season, so he's off. Frees another space for next season.
