Can someone from fundraising advise how best to return raffle tickets and payments? I called the club yesterday which, as I know, is on lockdown and the call was diverted. The person I spoke to was vague about returning ticket stubs...specifically whether cheques/ stubs will be collected from the club or not. It would seem sensible for some sort of telephone payment system to set up, although obviously this still leaves the issue of what happens to stubs. Quite important to maximise this, as I assume we are committed to going ahead. Selling tickets is going to be difficult but not impossible.

Just bumping this up....the draw is being delayed. Details are on the fundraising thread pinned above. Also details re returning tickets and selling/ buying online. This is an obvious way to support the club and ensure we come through this mess in a strong position to strengthen the squad. Maybe we could have a push today to sell a few.. not like we're doing much else. Will be posting off my cheque today for the batch I was sent.

Any idea when the draw is being made, hopefully restore some faith with the people who purchased some tickets.

Fair play...need to put a date in the diary asap as several people I sold tickets to are asking me the same question. Need to maintain club's credibility with non regular supporters in particular who may think we have just taken their money and may not buy tickets in future ?

Tens of thousands of people have died Roy, think people can wait to see if they've won a signed photo of Everton midfielder Bernard. If they've lost faith in the club then I don't know what to tell you

Trouble times indeed, but not everyone who bought tickets are Chester fans and although not important in the broader picture it doesn't reflect well on the club.

If it’s a concern over social distancing etc in conducting the draw, can’t one person conduct it via Zoom for the other committee members to watch to verify the draw’s authenticity? Has this not been considered?
