I think it comes down to what people want communicated. I agree with you Big Si, it does appear to have improved over the past 12 months and the great work Jim Green is doing is one of the few real positives that can be seen externally. I think where the issue comes is when something happens down at the club that leads to speculation. That speculation is then not responded to or is responded to badly/much later than it should have been and this opens up the accusations of lack of communication. There have been several of these incidents over recent times, many of which are personnel issues so have to be carefully dealt with. It's a tough one for the club and as supporters we have to accept that we can't expect clarification on every possible issue that arises. We have to trust the people elected on to the board to do the right thing. There again is another issue. My only dealings with the club were with Tracey smith/wainwright or whatever she was called, took 3 or 4 emails before getting a snotty reply. Had to get onto Grenville to sort the problem, which he did very quickly. Aye she was a piece of work to be fair, slandering fans on social media who had put themselves up for election.

I had dealings with Tracy Wainwright/Smith over 2 sponsorship deals, which never got sorted over the entire season which I paid a lot of hard earned money for! it was shambles from start to finish, I also paid her for my two Grandchildren to join the Junior Blues which was never acknowledged and my Grandchildren missed out!

To be fair I don't think anyone really thought this poor run of form would be as bad as it is and most thought our league status would have been secured ages ago.
The club would be daft to release season ticket prices until we know what league we will be in.

There are quite a few clubs selling Season Tickets already despite not knowing what league they will be in. Albeit they are going for promotion as opposed to us who arent. Huddersfield Town (£199) Dagenham & Redbridge (£199) Bradford City (£149) To list a few of them

If I was him, I'd get on with putting a 3G pitch at the Deva. I know it's controversial, but look at Maidstone United. They make 200 grand a year by hiring it out, have it open 7 days a week except match days, and have people drinking in the bar watching prem/CL football on the big screen whilst their mates play outside. They don't have to pay out for an additional training facility. The surface does make for a good playing surface, so it could produce better football and attract more fans too.
To me, it makes sense. They'll be accepted by the FL soon enough too.
