Unsure as to whether CFC has a Clubman of The Season Award but I really think that the club/supporters should recognise the work and commitment that JM has done since picking up the mess from late last season. I know JM has been rewarded with a new contract, but I genuinely believe that JM should pick up an 'Oscar' for his professionalism, his ethos and everything that CFC stands for. Obviously, long term it may all go pear shaped, but surely we should recognise his efforts of the last twelve months in working with a group of young players and making them a combatitive unit. CFC don't have any well paid prima donas, what JM has done is to get 16/17 young men to give us supporters what we strive for . . . 'a team that will fight for the shirt'. I see a lot of Ken Roberts/Brian Green in this current set up. Well done JM and long may it continue.

My nephew plays for the youth team and broke his wrist playing for Chester at the weekend. A couple of days later Macca phones his parents to invite him down for lunch with the team. I believe he is down there today. What a great gesture by JM, thats the sort of thing that sticks with you as a kid. Just shows how in tune he is with the ethos of this club.

Was picking up tickets from the club a few weeks back and even saw JM clearing leaves from the car park.

Macca has done a brilliant job - definitely goes 'above and beyond'.
However, for me, the Clubman should be an unsung hero at the club. That said, it's great that Macca leads by example!
