Would be nice to finish above them considering "we'd never play them again".. week in week out we've had chances to go above them but always let ourselves down. It's been like that for a while now.

It's not impossible, I can't get upset about the last 2 games- especially if what I say above happens then we all look a bit silly don't we?

You're just clinging on to your bad memories. 'Going down'. 'We'll never play you again' You're going bust'. 'You let your club..' etc etc It's all true. It all happened. The Wrexham chants all came true. It's all been building up for you. Over the Decades. Boiling away. The proverbial 'Monkey On Your back'. Now, the best you can ever expect, is finishing above Wrexham in the National League

Just shows how utterly dreadful Wrexham are that this is even possible. I think both Clubs are in utter disarray and neither Club will be getting out of this League (upwards anyway) for a very long time. At least Chester fans aren't deluded enough to think we are a big Club. The only big thing about Wrexham these days are those massive floodlights. It would be difficult to take much encouragement from something as minor as finishing above a side as dreadful as them. Particularly with the deep sense of foreboding I have about next season under the current set up.

Yes and so it continues ...we win at York you lose at home ! Your manager sounds just like Mills and he was seriously deluded and deserves everything coming to him . Its the true fans I feel sorry for as we are both fans owned clubs and hopefully one day success will come again, well to Wrexham FC anyway.

It's pretty much put us safe barring a very unlikely scenario!

Yes let's all have a pathetic bicker. Given teh malaise that we are currently in I couldn't give a shit about how well Wrexham are or are not doing comparatively. Focus on your own teams.

Absolutely, ideally both teams go up next season but Chester will obviously have to make the playoffs :-) but joking apart the seasons over nearly and time for both clubs to take stock.

I doubt there's not many Wrexham fans who'll raise a hand to acknowledge how bad we are. Our two main highlights of yet another terrible season have been:-
Turning up during a mundane season (full allocation) at a then high riding Chester, and absolutely 'bossing it' at you ground. Our fans were incredible.
Taking nearly 900 to York on Monday. Just to make a 'point'.
We might be in for a bonus. A bit of excitement at the end of a dreadful season. Something to laugh about. We'll know for sure come final score on Saturday.
