This is a plea for all fans to get behind the team on Monday for what is now a crucial match.
It seems that the peasant's revolt is gathering pace and I fear the atmosphere could easily become negative if things start going against us.
I'm one of many now voicing their displeasure with the club as a whole and asking questions of the board, management and some players BUT Monday is not the time for a negative vibe in the stadium.
Let's face it, the Deva is not the greatest place in terms of atmosphere at the best of times. More often than not it can be deathly quiet and I'm sure that the louder abuse hurled at the players can easily be heard by them. I'd much rather hear loud POSITIVE comments - OK groan and mutter inwardly but of all matches this is where the team needs the classic "12th man" especially with what I think will be a sparse crowd.
We all know we're shocking at the moment especially at home and I appreciate that the paying fan has the right to vent his/her frustrations but let's get over the line on Monday and sort things out after we're safe

I do believe we are safe though, if we did by some miracle go down then I think we would have deserved it.

Winning on Monday must be the objective and we as fans must play our part. However, if this match is won, the mission accomplished brigade should not be allowed to use this to paper over the gaping cracks and holes in the performance of the club on and off the pitch this season. It has simply not been good enough.

Despite what some on this site think of us, we (the unhappy ones) will be behind the team on Monday as together we strive for that last precious win. Again, despite what some think, most of us take no delight in our misfortune, but we are worried about the future under this present manager. His comments after the FGR game are really concerning and I think may cause some of the middle road fans (glass neither half full or half empty) some concern. But come Monday we will be shouting Come On You Blues!

We need to get behind them for 90 minutes, plus injury time. It would help the younger players to know we're behind them. They do need our help on Monday, let's not let them down. Hopefully, we'll avoid defeat and take a step to being safe. I do have a horrible feeling though that won't happen.

I don't think it's a case that they don't want to play for him as they all talk positively. In reality I think it's a simple case that they are all cosy, playing under no challenge, with a contract in the bag for next season. Too many happy to take home a pay cheque without earning it, yet guaranteed another one next season.

I love a good relegation battle so I'm going to be 100% behind the team. Those games with nothing to play for are boring.
If the players give their all and show they are up for it then the fans will respond with positivity.
Hopefully C McCarthy Burns will play a 4 4 2 and its time that wannabe Toughy George gave a captain's performance after nearly two years!

Hopefully C McCarthy Burns will play a 4 4 2 and its time that wannabe Toughy George gave a captain's performance after nearly two years! That's the key thing, if the players demonstrate their commitment and put in a shift on the pitch, then the fans will respond and get behind them. My worry is that our threadbare and limited squad is facing a different type of pressure now. We need as many players as possible to perform tomorrow and not have a other 'off' day.
