Good luck to Danny wherever he plays out this season and wherever he plays after that. A player that on paper has loads of potential but failed to deliver on many occasions. It could have been the style of football we play and elsewhere could be a different player. All the best and thanks for your efforts for Chester FC

Kings Lynn lost a striker to Chesterfield a couple of days ago and have signed three players recently, none of them a striker.

Best of luck to him. Can understand the desire for match time. That said donât see the gaffers (with help of new scout ?) struggling to find a (hopefully better) replacement. As others have said we need better to get to the NL.

The guy probably needs to work, and if he gets a short term deal anywhere at a higher level with a chance to earn a contract for next season, then good luck to him. Letâs hope we can unearth a hidden gem in the trials programme.

He did score twice against TNS when we played them in a friendly back in February.

Seems a decent fella and like his attitude but not a proper goal getter for me.

Heâs had a fairly nomadic career so far so quite feasible he will sign for a club that isnât geographically local. Heâs more likely to get to play âregular footballâ as mentioned in the clubâs statement at somewhere like Barnet than he is at Wrexham. Depends I guess how willing the struggling NL clubs are to bring new players in if they canât go down.

Good luck to him, he went on loan and scored a hattrick on his debut. A new club and maybe a different set up might suit him. It Looks like Kings Lynn are looking at him.

Didn't I read that he's a qualified accountant? He might well make more money staying part-time and playing around another job.
Good luck to him wherever he goes.

By the time they've all gelled you'll be on your 14th season in non league.

To be honest if thats the best Hollywood FC can attract that Netflix thing isn't going to be much cop is it?
Lovely fella, his work outside football is very commendable etc, but as much a goal threat as Rapley was.

Definitely a NLN player based on last season, thought he did well for us to be honest, but not NLP level.

Tricky one to judge Elliott.
He has genuine pace, and he's fairly strong. He can hit a ball with that left foot. He's looked far better than lower level teams when we've played them.
However, his movement isn't that good, and his hold up play isn't great. I think there's a good player in there, but not sure we'd ever see it.
I always though he needed to make more right to left runs more, to get onto his left foot.
We really need a mobile target man type of player to go with what we probably have.

Difficult one to call. Scored more than a goal every 3 games and one third of those were sub appearances, albeit a few penalties.
I would be sad to see him leave.

Agree with the last two posts. I wouldn't be surprised to see him do well at a higher level, but at the same time he hasn't really proved himself at this one. He seems to have a habit of scoring a glut of goals, then none for weeks.
Still, I liked his attitude and wish him as well as it's possible to for a player going to Wrexham, although I still can't see any confirmation that he's gone there.

He was one of those I would be happy to keep but not too disappointed to lose. I think we did go a little direct to him earlier in the season and whilst he did notch a couple during that time I never thought that was really his game, as he was often isolated and fighting against two centre backs aerially. The reintroduction of Dudley was the catalyst for more passing football in terms of taking the ball from Glendon and Weeks, but then that was sometimes at the expense of Elliot from the starting line up. Not sure he'll see much regular football in the National League which at this stage of his career may not be a wise move, but I can see why he's doing it as it's money at the end of the day. Brilliant attitude and he'll always be fondly remembered as one of those who gave up his wages so that we could play the play offs, not to mention playing this season without Covid testing, so he'll always have my respect.

Can't believe the Goats lost out on Wilfried Bony and now Elliott has snubbed them too.
