Jonno has deactivated his twitter it look like, he's done it a few times in the past. Some idiot plucked a figure of £80k and directly tweeted it to him yesterday having a go at him. He went offline pretty soon afterwards so must have been fed up. What the hell is the matter with some people? Absolute morons. He'd do well to stay off Twitter. Don't really understand why managers and players use it. Social media for managers and players is great when the going’s good, they get their ego stroked, but once you hit rocky patches it’s a horrible place to be. I left Twitter a year ago, someone who knows who I am in person became personal with abuse over a discussion led by Dave Powell about Mesut Ozil. Crazy isn’t it? Absolutely crazy. Horrible place, social media. Fair play to Jonno for continuing to front up but he’s infinitely better off leaving it - I can speak from experience and his social media feeds will be a million times more active and intrusive than mine.

Will we get a club statement this year saying CM job is safe do you reckon? Why would we? He's contracted for a good while yet. I think the feeling of the majority seems to be that after one season of overachieving and one season of underachieving then he's got a bit of patience still in the bank. Club's should only be making those kind of statements if there's mass pressure on a manager with the team struggling in the league. Let's have it for what it is.....we were sitting comfortably in the play offs and then for whatever reason hit some rocky form and we've ended up just outside. A poor season overall, not a disaster worth making statements about.

I actually do think it’d be nice to have some sort of statement - not necessarily focusing on the security of Cal’s job, but more to reassure fans and try and ease some potential grumbles people might have. Something about how much our support is appreciated, how everyone at the club is disappointed with how things have ended and aware of what needs to be improved, how contract negotiations are ongoing and plans are afoot for the summer, and so on. Pretty commonplace for clubs to issue a statement like that before their last game, especially if it’s been a disappointing season; presumably the season ticket drive will be starting soon, so we need to generate some optimism and convince those who might be in two minds about renewing.

I think the location was an issue for him and he was upfront about that from the beginning. He’s done a good job for Darlo mind.

I'd expect a retained and clearance list early next week. Followed by contract news over the next week or so. We'll quickly get an idea of the changes we can expect.

Send shit like that in a dm if you want to get personal with someone.
Guy asked a question about a statement from club regards the FA cup and gets a load of abuse back.
Sums up this message board of late, same old posters keep shouting down and attacking anyone who dares question the way the season has gone. People who were previously all too quick to do the same when other people have been at the helm..

As for the rest of your message, last season was a failure but I don't think I've called anyone out in having a go over that? Regarding the past, was I wrong to have a go at previous board members? Did they work out well for the club? People with their own agendas should NEVER run our club, even if they are your mates.
