Never heard of before but I'm seriously considering not going tomorrow - The first final game in probably 33 years to miss - It just doesn't appeal - I feel as flat as a pancake with this game - listening to Mccarthy again this week harping on with the same shit the Club offering incentives but doesn't include me - reading reports of the better players on their way out - absolutely nothing to cheer - I love this Club but just can't muster any enthusiasm at all

Just because we go through a rough patch doesn't mean I give up on my wife, the same goes with Chester.

I'm an addict to my club and I suspect you are too. We don't always see eye to eye, but we need all the fans we can get. Don't miss your footy fix eh? I have been brought up on a diet of failure over the years with some great notable exceptions. None of that matters, it's in my blood Once a blue and all that. Hope you attend fella

However, there is at last, some good news tonight. Because, like you sirfred, many supporters are totally hacked off with McCarthy and his woeful management performance, but in order to raise everybody s spirits and increase ticket sales, Jon has suggested that he give an exclusive 90 minute interview to those who do attend the function, highlighting the success of his magnificent achievement in avoiding relegation this season, and the difficulties he has had to overcome. Jono, as Mark calls him, hasnt yet confirmed who will conduct the interview, but Mark says he has been inundated with offers and talks with potential people are in the pipeline. Jon is convinced the speech, which will include anecdotes about Kanes Bouncy Castle, and Wades Harry Potter card collection, will be a winner, and make the event memorable. Ticketmaster have been alerted.

This is what should be worrying the club sick if I were in their shoes.
Personally, with the exception of the ubiquitous Rio, I personally could not identify any of the posters in real life if I fell over them (nor would I wish to know who they were). I also have no views one way or another whether they are "happy clappers" or otherwise. But, it's becoming more and more obvious that there's a growing feeling of apathy amongst the fans to the extent that we're now seeing people, who I guess are deep-down committed fans, seriously questioning whether to attend. OK, there maybe some mileage in the view that it's a relatively small number of posters but I'm of the view that it's symptomatic of a much deeper malaise within the club.
Of course, everyone has the right to attend or not (I choose to do so) but, as I've posted on the match thread, the close season is critical to our future. We must overcome this apathy quickly, it should be the #1 priority in the close season otherwise it will generate a momentum all of it's own.
INACTION FROM THE CLUB IS NOT AN OPTION

Come on Sir Fred, it is the team who you have a passion for and they need your support on an important day. For the good of you, I hope you do attend and enjoy the game.

I don't get to see as many games as I would like being an exile and having a busy life, but I know I will always support Chester. Despite the poor run and I suspect even if we were to be relegated, I still prefer this as our team and not some idiots plaything. The club will need time to get better at this level and it will make mistakes like 2 and a half year contracts. But it still our club 👍

Just because we go through a rough patch doesn't mean I give up on my wife, the same goes with Chester. Aye, plus the fact that you can choose your wife and go through multiple wives in a lifetime. You can't choose or ever change your football club, though. Yes it's been absolutely depressing following this club lately, and the home games are a ballaching chore, but it's the last game of the season so let's see the season out and celebrate its death from 3pm until 3am - that's my plan, at least.

The decision whether I go or not has been taken out of my hands. I am ST holder, but stuck in GLASGOW, and unable to drive back til next week. I've always believed we've a chance in matches, even when the team on paper has been worse than this one, but there is realistically only one outcome today. The team is without leadership both on and off the pitch. I'll be watching Celtic beat Rangers yet again, but I'll have one eye on BBC website on my phone praying that the 9 goal swing scenario doesn't become the nightmare.

I'm going, but I really don't want to. It's become like a punishment
As someone said above, it should really worry the powers that be that people who supported the club through thick and thin for X amount of years are thinking of giving up.
It takes me a long time and is expensive to get to home games. Do I renew my season ticket? That shouldn't even be a question, but the way the club is going I'm not sure if I will

Sir Fred, glad you've decided to go today.
You never know we might play ok and we'll all get a little bit of the good feeling back.
Remember it is the End of Season Awards do tonight. We usually win before that. You wouldn't want to sit in a room with your supporters if you've just lost yet another home game, would you? Especially after York have won 7-0!
Enjoy the game and go home thankful the season finished today. One more week and we could have gone down.
