It's looking desperate for Jeff Stellings mob. Maybe he'll pay us a visit next season. Huge game for them at Cheltenham today, a game which realistically Hartlepool have to get something from to avoid the drop. Quite like Hartlepool as a traditional opponent of ours, but they've dodged the bullet a lot over the years and I think applied for re-election to the Football League more than anyone else. |

It was losing to Cheltenham (a) 1-0 in our penultimate game in 2000 that did for us too.

It was losing to Cheltenham (a) 1-0 in our penultimate game in 2000 that did for us too. It was the away game at Swansea a few matches earlier that did us. 1-0 up going into the last few minutes and lost 2-1 !!! A point from that would have saved us, and we should have taken all three. |
