A disaster for York to go down. Looked like they were going to get out of it. If we are clutching at straws, it could be a lot worse for us today. They are going to struggle to get back with only one automatic promotion spot. Will still be some strong teams in National North next season. would have preferred Guiseley to have gone TBH.

Pretty strong comparison with Halifax last season in terms of getting to the FA Trophy final and going down, as well as having a strong second half to the season that was ultimately no avail. In both cases people seemed to jump the gun though in believing they'd get out of it. Like us in 2000 they were left with too little margin for error. As said, Orient's plight could be York's potential salvation.

Pitch invasion suspended the match and looks like they are playing the last few minutes now, behind closed doors or as good as. Colchester 3-1 up. Orient are in a mess.

What happened to the Matchroom guy?

Better for us York going - we stand more chance of finishing above Guiseley than we do York.

York was never a favourite away day for me. Dreary ground and away end. Thoughts of course to their fans on dropping down etc I bet Gary Mills is wondering now?
