7 years in does it feel like it fan owned? it doesn't to me, well maybe for a select few It certainly does feel like a fans owned club. I attend every time CCU meetings, receive regular emails from the club and can get involved with volunteering. I could never do this when the club belonged to someone else.

Correction I meant CFU not CCU

I'm an exile but I feel more connected to the club than I did under the likes of Vaughan. I have a stake in the club, a vote and I can voice my opinion. That is not to say that I 100% agree with the running of the club. I don't. But I don't feel as helpless as in the Barnes, Gutterman, Smith or Vaughan years.

Don't you feel that the club has been highjacked by someone with no emotional investment in our team.

Don't you feel that the club has been highjacked by someone with no emotional investment in our team. No. It's just that we're crap on the field and we all feel helpless and unable to make things better. It's frustration.

At the moment it feels like this CEO holds all the power. His "100% comments" after the game do not reflect the majority of the fans' views or what they want. It is obvious that he is trying to mitigate the disastrous decision to give the manager a contract that we can't afford to pay off.
A meeting must be called asap otherwise we are going to be sleepwalking into the Conference north and next season will be a total and utter disaster.

Arrogant Blue etal, if you are CFU members contact a board member or CEO and ask what you need to do to call a meeting, or ask for a personal meeting, or express your concerns in an email. You will get a response. Do something yourself, don't just shout on here. If you are not a member then consider joining. I understand joining the CFU is not everyone's cup of tea for a variety of reasons but I have found that being a member, and attending meetings has at the very least given me direct access to people and information to better enable me to make my own informed evaluation.

Superman, that's far too pro-active for alot on here. It's far easier to moan, moan. moan and decry others than get of their backsides and do something about the mess they believe the club are in.

Maguire and his cronies is going to repeat his Stockport experience with us, and with "his" manager and friends backing him up, there's no way we can get rid of them or stop what he's doing. He's revealed his hand now with several of his retained list. He's going to get his way with making us a bigger fish in a smaller pond.
