Not sure if this is true or not.
He was a bit disappointing last season. His pace has gone completely and he never really looked like scoring the whole time he played. That said the one goal he got for us was a corker.

Enough said already today to kill any remaining optimism. I'd be gobsmacked by the thought of Joyce, George, Marsh, and Chappell being the backbone of a Conference North team!!!
Looks like the plans involve only one season in the Conference North, so The Great Macca can get us back to the Evostick before his current contract expires.
Keep your options open for then Neil.

I would rather we signed someone from lower down the pyramid with potential (Richards didn't work out) but there are gems down there. Much better than signing old journeyman pros like Iwelumo.

I would suggest someone who has had reasonably long career in the game, having preferably played at football league level in a defensive capacity, with evident leadership and organisational qualities, and the ability to command the respect of the players. Lee Sinnott would be a great choice. Worked wonders with Altrincham and knows how to pick a player. Him and Damo Reeves will do well for Chester.
