With developments behind the scenes in Tom Shaw becoming assistant manager and a good clear out I'm feeling a tad more optimistic but the Signing of Harry White is really interesting and very good Striker and always scored against us in the past finished Moors top scorer this season and has real pace - my god I'm morphing into a happy clapper

Happy with this signing, I seem to recall he scored against us for 3 different clubs in 2016 (Kidderminster, Boreham and Solihull).
Still young, so the right type of player we should be signing.

Been in the Solihull Moors fan site and they are sorry to see him go and wish him the best. An indication he was well thought of.
Particularly commended for his running as a sole striker 😳. Sounds a good fit 😜

Welcome Harry. Looks a really promising signing, and Macca has wanted him for a while now. Harry thinks highly of our club, and Solihull Moors are trying to cut their costs (looks like they are in a bit of trouble financially and look pretty likely to go down next season if the const cutting continues!) so it was a match made in heaven for us. He still had a year on his contract at Solihull but they allowed him to move to us for no fee, brilliant work 👍🏻

With McCarthy in charge we'd have been better off signing Jimmy White, as we're bound to need snookers next season at some point.

If your manager had really been after him why didnt he come to you on loan then ? " massive club" really but I suppose comparing with Solihull you are bigger than them. Just read a Kidderminster fan saying White was meant to be signing for them earlier in the season but failed a medical. I'd like to think we have conducted a medical before signing him.

Just thinking the same. There was no failed medical at Kidderminster. They did a last minute u turn on a contract adjustment. It happens. Medical at Chester went well, no problems. Looking forward to pre season training.
