Bradley Barnes is at Salford. One of my favourite players from the reformed Chester. Can't remember exactly who we were playing but ill always remember that midweek night match where he ran about 45 yards and hammered some lad with one of the hardest tackles I've ever seen. The guy pretty much did a full flip. He got the ball as well but the ref felt like he had to book him for the sheer ferocity of it!
Wasn't it him that booted a ball into the goat fans too when he saw they had those grim banners?

That was Ashley Williams at Wrexham ^^^
I remember Bradley Barnes doing a legendary slide tackle at Prescot Cables on New Years Day 2011. Summed up those early years of CFC reforming for me. I was also made up he got a "farewell" goal in front of the Harry Mc when it became clear he was leaving...think that was against North Ferriby (maybe Stocksbridge).

Looked like he was taking a break from the game when he played for us Bit unfair that. The goal he scored in the 1-0 win at Woking was special. We've lost 7 consecutive games to them since. Was thinking just that myself. Neat goal indeed. |

I liked Menagh, he was certainly playing at a level above his ability with us but had something about him. The Woking goal, Halifax winner & Lincoln double, produced a few good moments there. Nice lad as well. |

Shaun Whalley is at Shrewsbury. He is an example of one of our academy players going in to have decent football careers, even if it didn't happen overnight.

Went to Hamilton Academical v Motherwell today. Ben Henaghan played full 90 mins.
Poor game but a vital 1-0 win for Motherwell.
