Looking at the news this morning and the queue has started for filing past the coffin at the Palace of Westminster and Network Rail are warning of travel congestion caused by people traveling down to join the queue. Apparently over 200,000 queued to file past the Queen Mothers' when she died.
Are people mad in this country. Why would you do this, I know we love a queue in this country but queuing for almost two days to walk past a dead body, whoever it may be, is madness.

Looking at the news this morning and the queue has started for filing past the coffin at the Palace of Westminster and Network Rail are warning of travel congestion caused by people traveling down to join the queue. Apparently over 200,000 queued to file past the Queen Mothers' when she died. Are people mad in this country. Why would you do this, I know we love a queue in this country but queuing for almost two days to walk past a dead body, whoever it may be, is madness. If they'd done it with Thatcher there'd have been millions of northerners queuing up to make sure the bitch was actually dead.. |

Do royalists actually want a second by second tracking of the coffin? I'd guess most of them probably not, I'm with you Lobster it's very weird. You'd have thought she would have had her funeral 3 times already the coverage has been that fanatical. That's the BBC for you though every second must be broadcast, they absolutely bum the monarchy. |

I think the conversation got a bit confused there. Yesterday they said that the queue was 4 and a half miles long. We love a good queue in this country. Personally can't think of anything I'd stand in a 4 and a half mile queue for. |
