Kind draw on paper 📝 we could do with as has been said getting Derby or Wednesday away in The 1 st round or getting a lucky draw twice and drawing a premiership club 3 rd round can be done kiddie last season. A run like this would really shape us moving forward

Well the losers fee goes but it's at this point that tv money, including for the 30 second/1min highlights comes in and just replaces that really.

They've also got Louis Dodds, Saul Shotton and Danny Pugh, all ex league players Looks like their player manager Carl Dickinson called in a few favours from his ex team mates. Not arsed, reads more like an ex pro’s Sunday league team of mates than a decent semi pro side. Let’s batter them, get more money in the bank and march onto sheff weds or derby away in the 1st round (decided Ipswich or Pompey too far) It is that sort of attitude that often comes back and bites you in the ass 😂😂😂

Although Hanley Town are 15th in a league that is two steps below us, they have a strong financial backing and a handful of experienced former Premier League/EFL players, so they will be really up for this one. In general though, I am very happy that we have another home tie against a lower league side as it will provide us with a great opportunity of progressing one step closer to the 1st Round. It is definitely one to look forward to as it should be another decent payday for us. Before then though we have two tough away trips in the league which we need to get through first.

Interesting that Hereford play in the NL North but are in the Southern part of the FA cup draw.

I saw a comment from one of their fans after yesterday's defeat to City of Liverpool that a good number of players are playing above their level.

They certainly haven’t made a good start in the league given the calibre of players they have. Suppose a few of them could be past it which may explain why they are underperforming.

Rail strike so can’t see many making the effort! They’d filled two coaches within three days of the draw, so hopefully be a few.
