It's a brilliant idea, I hope it happens more regularly!
Etickets should be here for next season

The club said it would be available for viewing afterwards, so am guessing it will be posted on the website at some point.

Really enjoyed that. All very positive and if they deliver what they are suggesting then things look good.

I got it ok, but couldn't hear a word. For some reason it defaults to "muted" so you need to click the speaker symbol, bottom left, to get sound.

Thanks for the positive feedback to this. It's very much a first for us at Chester, so we weren't sure how it would be received or go. It's imperative that the board remain as transparent as possible, and this is a small step in addressing some concerns over previous seasons. What I will say though, is that most obvious way to remain completely abreast of things is to join the CFU, as you will have access to monthly meetings. These are also streamed live for those whose who can't attend in person.
Thanks to Mark Maguire too, who is also very happy to answer any questions and is very supportive of these ventures. As the season progresses we will look at trying to squeeze another one in and hopefully we will have some even more exciting developments in the way we interact as a club, from next season.
Thanks,
Alan

Definitely a good step forward in communications, great to see the club embracing modern methods to engage with the fan base.

I've not watched the Q&A yet, but intend to do so when I get an hour this weekend. I do think that doing these sessions is a very positive move by the club in terms of communication with the supporters. I also find Alan's promise to bring complete transparency as a big step forwards. Furthermore, it's good to see the club utilising new technology to bring us this new content. Well done to the new Media Officer too for getting this off the ground. Now all we need to do is sort out the OWS (!)

I just wonder if Alan could summarise some of the principle points. I couldn't get enough sound to hear (I'm deaf anyway).

Really good this. For a while people have been saying that communication isn't the best, but things are moving forwards quickly in this respect.
If anyone has a gripe, there is no reason not to attend a CFU meeting, or post a question on things like this to help understand why decisions have been made (like the reduced price for a single match question).

I just wonder if Alan could summarise some of the principle points. I couldn't get enough sound to hear (I'm deaf anyway). Hi perm, So, from a CFU perspective, for me the three key targets should be membership, fundraising and volunteers and we need to ensure that there is a clear plan to make sure we maximise all avenues in achieving our goals in these areas. The membership of the CFU is integral to how we move forward; £12 per person times x amount gives us substantial clout to move forward. I will also ensure that the CFU membership feel that their £12 has value attached to it too. Fundraising needs a major review as to how we approach it and ensure that rather than taking a ad-hoc approach, it's constructive and far more financially beneficial to the club. With the volunteers, I want the ones we have now to feel valued; I will always try and go around on a matchday and say hello to them all, but we also need to grow the numbers and experience we have at our disposal. Mark also addressed questions about city centre presence and online ticketing. Both these are currently being worked on, with the online ticketing a major priority. Mark also covered questions regarding contracts, matchday pricing and scouting. We were both also asked questions regarding our roles and how we became involved at the club. I am not so good at summarising, so hopefully somebody will be able to provide some meat to the bones. Thnaks, Alan

Really enjoyed that (via the recorded clip this morning) , thanks for making the effort to do it for all involved. Certainly a lot of great ideas and forward thinking in evidence and it feels like the club is very much back where it should be again in relationships and communications with the fans and wider community.
