I know there hasn't been an announcement yet, early days, but are we expecting tickets prices to rise?
I think £18 is too much as it is, if there was an increase, for example £20, then I can only see that damaging attendance.

Personally I think it would be madness but I'm a little suspicious that nothing is announced. There's usually an early bird on by now.

Given that Mark Maguire said we couldn't announce season ticket details whilst we were on a downer (or words to that effect), I suspect we may have a decent signing on the way.

If we don't actually sell season tickets, no one can complain about sales. This is the masterplan. It's so cunning none of us have figured it out.

Given that Mark Maguire said we couldn't announce season ticket details whilst we were on a downer (or words to that effect), I suspect we may have a decent signing on the way. We're lining up a few signings at once, to then announce ST prices and offers. Found this out from inside yesterday during a charity match I played at the deva. We need some good signings, makes up for the stupidity of the kit deal, which is one thing I have to praise Maguire for sorting out, which some on here may be aware of...What's that last line about sorry ?

What's that last line about sorry ? Can't go into detail on it, but let's say someone agreed a kit deal that would have been enough to nearly bankrupt us if Maguire didn't step in. That said we will still be stuck with the same kit deal for 5 years. Bloody hell........

Does anyone know how many more years were stuck with puma for then? Just been stated above we're with them for 5 years. I'd like to see us have a fresh change and move to Adidas or Nike once that deal is up. Whatever is cheapest for the club, though.

I was told it was a blunder by a female member of Staff who no longer works at the Club, Thank God We were told about a year ago that the Puma deal was to end soon . Given that the Clubs owners (fans) werent happy with the previous deal (lots of discontentment on D.C ) why did anyone at the club sign us up for another contract ? This was contrary to the fans wishes

Need to absolutely make sure that any deal we do enter into that we can order more stock when needed and in good time. I've been waiting for months and months for the club to have the right sizes in stock to buy my two lads the home shirts.
I'm not bothered on the brand of the kit, only things I am interested in are price and availability

Thought this thread was about gate prices and season tickets . . . not kit? Keep on topic lads. Must be some news this week, surely?

Only one delivery of kit and when that had run out no more supplies . So the club have signed us up for another deal with Puma even though the fans werent happy

Dave Powell has said that season tickets are to be released either at the end of this week or the start of next week. This indicates that we will have a new signing by then.

This was contrary to the fans wishes Like guessed said, the person responsible was sacked. However we do have to stick with puma, also ridiculous numbers of certain player shirts as well. Half of them end up in the club shop which is why we tend to have a tonne of XL - XXL...and not enough medium. Put on some weight then!

Worth noting Tranmere announced their season ticket prices for next season before they went into the play-off's, even though they could be in the EFL next season. If they do win at Wembley and I hope they do, possible that some casual supporters at the Deva will go and watch league football at Tranmere.

Puma, Nike, Adidas are all the same so far as I'm concerned, rotten exploitative multinationals that make their clobber by paying Vietnamese or Bangladeshi children a couple of dollars a day in sweatshop factories and it is a disgrace that as a fan-owned mutual we use any of their overpriced tat. We should be supporting British factories and British companies like Surridge and others who have workers who get paid proper wages, are covered by proper H&S legislation and have the legal right to join a trade union. The fact that we don't do so is scandalous.

So the 12 year old girls making the shirts can get stuffed then? We are the owners and that is our responsibility, and it is one that we should take very seriously if we wish to make any claim to be an ethical business.

I agree with this, we are supposed to be different. I would certainly pay more for an ethically sourced product.
We seem to have the worst of both worlds at the moment. Amateur mistakes from volunteers/inexperienced staff (kit deal, heneghan farce) alongside heartless capitalism (high ticket prices, cheapest supply option)

Amateur mistakes from volunteers/inexperienced staff (kit deal, heneghan farce) alongside heartless capitalism (high ticket prices, cheapest supply option) The kit deal has been sorted by Mark Maguire, as well as the Sam Hughes situation which Mark has ensured we will not see a repeat of the Heneghan nightmare. We don't have high tickets prices at all, on some pricing levels we're infact cheaper than many clubs i.e. Under 16. And finally, regarding the cheapest kit option, we're bloody skint. I don't think we're in a position to go out and go for an expensive kit option just because it's UK produced.

It would be great publicity for the club to use an ethical kit supplier, perhaps even encouraging people to buy one even though they normally wouldn't. Not even Forest Green are doing that for all Dale Vince goes on about ethics.
I keep saying that we really must try to be a bit different.
