Still "Joint" top but one defeat against a decent team and they go into hiding. No one is going into hiding - I am absolutely amazed we are still joint top. We have had a couple of half decent games this season the rest has been poor on our part. We just have the two best centre backs in the league but if they get injured we will be in free-fall in no time. Holroyd does his best up front but needs a decent strike partner and a bit of service from midfield would help. I just hope Deano bringing a few in come January or we will be slipping to mid-table. You lot shouldn't panic yet - its not even Christmas. I remember Wrexham were struggling this time last year but we're something else this season. Can only only see us winning a few more, we've drawn 9 with 7 of them to thank from the goal posts. it's a shame as it's the only way we get decent income playing Wrexham.

No, we can't complain. Joint top of the League. Delirious! It's a poor League. If we had a creative midfielder and two goalscorers we'd absolutely pizz it. I expect us to be caught up if nothing changes in the transfer window. At the other end, you can't see much changing. Bottom 4 look doomed to a relegation battle already. It's going to be a long season for them.

Obviously we are there on merit - but only because the league is crap this year! However, if you think we are playing really well then I can only assume you don't attend very often. Pearson, Manny and Holroyd are keeping us top at the moment but we desperately need some new players in January or we will start to slip.

Secondly, I’m a season ticket holder and don’t miss a game. Thirdly, the team as a whole are keeping us up top, not two or three individuals, it’s a team effort. You do the squad and management team a disservice to suggest otherwise. You,re obviously a glass half empty type of fan.

I am also a season ticket holder and attend a good few away matches. I also do plenty of other things for the club. Obviously it is a team game but without the efforts of the three mentioned we would not be top in my humble opinion. If you see it different then we can agree to disagree. If you think the likes of Olly Marx, who will be a good player in a few years, is a good deputy for Pearson then good luck to you. I'm hoping Deano brings two or three in come January then we can really push on thi season and gain promotion.

You don't know who you're standing next to at a derby game. Just might be off duty and a fan. Otherwise it's proof that despite the visual police presence, there's more than meets the eye.

A solid point today against a physical Dover side. Shaded it over the 90 minutes and moved up to second. Not a bad start to Christmas.

Where’s the “let’s all laugh at wrexham” thread gone? Thought the Chester squad was better than ours this year. Not one of our players would get in that squad apparently. And you say we’re delusional.......

Promotion-chasing Wrexham AFC are going places after having their title challenge boosted by a major sponsorship deal.
The Dragons have netted £25,000 from Hays Travel North West, the UK’s fastest growing independent travel agency, which has its head office in the town’s Lord Street.

Why do goats post about Wrexham on a Chester website. Is it just me or is this really bizarre behaviour?

Why do goats post about Wrexham on a Chester website. Is it just me or is this really bizarre behaviour? You are probable right - it's just you! It's not rocket science though, if you are not interested in Wrexham stuff then read the title of the thread and if you don't like it then don't read it.......... Alternatively, if you like a bit of banter like Chester fans who post on Red Passion, then come join in the fun.

You’re talking about Wrexham between yourselves on a Chester message board. Very, very weird.
Go meet a woman you strange men.

Can I ask a question?
Why do you call us goats? I get the welsh-sheep loving thing, but why goats?
Is it in relation to the royal welsh mascot?

The 1864 suite completely sold out for the Tranmere game in just over two weeks. Bamfords Suite, just a few places left.
Great stuff. The hospitality at the Racecourse this season is exceeding all expectations. Sold out on both suites for nearly every game to date.

Not my cup of tea but they do have an incredibly loyal fan base. Nice to see Wrexham band Kidsmoke as support on the night too. Big future for these guys. Be surprised if it doesn’t sell out. A nice little earner as they say.

We're absolutely delirious on High Street. There could be an absolutely massive gate for Tranmere next Saturday.
