Looking at a 7k plus crowd on Saturday v Tranmere. Clash of the titans. I'm sure the whole world will be watching but in all seriousness Just a few wins and Tranmere have climbed up the table, they could realistically win the League, It wouldn't surprise me, no stand outs this year. Anyone from 10th could go up. I bet the police are relishing looking like biggy big bollocks in front of a big crowd, they'll be praying for arrests.

Over 7k sold with 4 days to go for the Tranmere game, with the kop out of bounds what’s the capacity these days?

Capacity is a tad under 10,000 these days. However unreserved seating rules and segregation knocks a fair few off that figure.

With the size of the kop they could do something with that surely? or is a complete safety hazard? an all seater would look decent.

The Kop has been neglected for years and would require huge amounts of cash to bring it to a level where it could get a safety certificate. The hope is that one day a number of different agencies, get together around the table and thrash out a deal that would see a new Kop stand built.

Over 8000 sold for tomorrow’s blockbuster. Watch us fuck it up. Massive pay day that, Just for your sake the police don’t send a huge police bill. They do love a chopper.. Tranmere have picked up the pace big time but if your defence is on it 1 goal will be enough.

Goats are a sell out at over 8200, the revenue generated must be insane. Has anyone suggested a bucket collection tomorrow at the Racecourse?

Just imagine if the Kop was still open, shame really but today is a great advert for non league football. Surely at least one of you will get promotion this year.

It's buzzing for us at the moment with a chance at promotion. Atmos at the Cae Ras will be electric this afternoon.
I do feel for you lot though - I know quite a few Chester fans living in Rossett (along with some close to the family) and they are decent guys - so for their sake I hope you pull through.
I would happily chuck a few coins in the bucket as would a few other reds I know ..........

Football Clubs do stick together, there was plenty of help when we started up from Wrexham fans, if there somehow is a bucket don't give it to the shower that is currently elected. They clearly have no idea how to utilise the money.

Any money going into the club at this stage can go in only one direction - to plug the big hole in the finances. And we need it now, not after some future election.

2-2 in front of 8400.. Both teams a good shout for meeting in the Play offs. that would be a very interesting final if that came off.

Everyone acknowledges Tranmere have a very strong squad and will thereabouts at the end of the season but, if we make a few good signings there's no reason why we shouldn't be up there with them.

Just a few missing pieces of the jigsaw left to put in. Namely a couple of strikers.
This has got to go down as one of the best goals against Tranmere in modern history. Shaun Holmes' near half way line belter was nice, especially as it was the winner and Ray Mathias lost his job on the Monday morning...
But this is dream football. Delirium!

Bora da.
Can any of you Welsh boyos tell me why that try wasn't given for Wales yesterday.
I don't properly understand egg chasing, but it looked a try to me.
Why wasn't it given.
I'd have been well pissed off if England had had one like that ruled out.

Every game is a cup final. Just a shame the players don't see it that way!

I'd have been well pissed off if England had had one like that ruled out. As a north Walian we never did rugger at school, always looked upon it as a south Wales sport. Stick with football mate at least we know what is going on even if we don't like what we are seeing lately!!

We're still there. In the frame. 8 draws out of 11 played. Unbelievable! Hats off to Macclesfield though. Consistency.
Can anyone please post any links of the match highlights on here
1-4
If we don't go up. I'll be content though if Tranmere bottle it again
