Not going as hoped at the moment to be fair but you as Chester supporters will appreciate more than most that it is early in the season and we will take the draw against Chesterfield. Attendance is holding up well - improving actually.
How are things at the Deva these days - I read the statement!

No doubt we will spend another fortune in the January window.

Given that in the UK, 'cannabis is a class B, schedule 1 drug. It is illegal to possess, supply or produce this drug. Special police guidelines exist in relation to arrest for possession of cannabis,' do you think 'Stoner' Rob fullfils the criteria as a fit and proper owner given his public boasts re getting off his face on weed? |

Chester is a dream city for tourists like them especially once they've taken in the delights of Wrexham town centre...or lack of. |

I gave them the benefit of the doubt as being just over enthusiastic when they took over, but now I’m assured they’re both utterly clueless. For one, they’re not going up this year, so interesting to see reaction from them. I give it 2-3 years max. Most of their signings from higher leagues have struggled, they’d be much better taking some of the good lads from our league, but I’m sure Les Reid is well versed in non league football 😂😂 Only credit I’ll give is Paul Mullin - but wouldn’t you expect that on 5k a week. |

What is wrong in looking to the future, Rob and Ryan have said they are hoping for promotion in the future maybe not this season (personally I don't think it will be this season) and hope one day we will be in the premiership. We can all dream, it may not be in my lifetime (hope I'm wrong). But even Chester fans want better things for their club.

There’s the difference. I don’t mock Them or defend them.. erm…because I’m a grown up, mind you my wife would argue over that…look I don’t know if this project they are embarking on will work or not and I don’t really care, time will tell, but if anything it’s getting their supporters excited and that’s what football is all about…what riles me is some posters on here are happy to stay as we are so they could leave the club to their grandchildren when they finally succumbed to their maker..(and judging by our last AGM it’s going to come sooner rather than later to most) like it’s some sort of memorial garden or family heirloom…football is all about risk taking ,winning ,excitement ,getting the adrenaline pumping..a great day out…it’s just hard to stay focused when we are beaten by a team that I’ve never heard of 4-0 at home, in a FA cup game.. and apart from struggling to get into the ground I couldn’t even get a bloody pie..so yes I do vent on here, but never defend Wrexham…. |
