Good job the expert fans of a mid table conference north team know the answer to this problem and not the multi-millionaires or experts running the club. Cheers lads. Where’s Shaun Harvey’s area of expertise then?

We've got more idea of how to run a club on a budget than a pair of Hollywood personalities. A Wrexham fan has been done over with that message a bit like his club has with the price for Ollie Palmer.

Is the EGM called by the National League for this Thursday, discussing the Salary Cap Working Group among other matters, in any way connected to certain dealings down the road?

More than likely Lobster. I can think of a few clubs in the championship that would struggle to fork out £300k for a player. What there doing in the national league really is a joke. It's destroying football too when a player drops 2 leagues for more money & they aren't even going up.

We'd have been more than happy if say Stuart Murphy turned out to be a very rich philanthropist as opposed to a delusional two bob millionaire and bankrolled us back into the football league. We're not jealous of them, we're just all very jealous of what they've got - rich backers with unbelievable ambitions.

We have suffered for so many years and watched other teams sail past us to the EFL . We have been badly managed and run so please let us have a bit of good fortune for once. Not one CFC supporter would turn down the deal that R & R offered us , it was a chance in a life time and we all grabbed it with both hands. It will be an interesting run into the end of the season for us and I expect more signings shortly .

The club under fan ownership was turned around from a basket case to a profitable entity in the space of a few seasons, only let down by a few poor choices of manager. (They even got that right on occasion)

I think you're right regarding the R&R money as well as all the amazing publicity it's brought you, most Chester supporters would have grabbed the opportunity you have with both hands. But to be fair your new owners aren't probably spending much of their own money, they're spending the money generated by 8000+ crowds, the Tiktok sponsorship deal, etc... I think the problem will be if you don't get promoted this season. Wrexham fans can say, until they're blue in the face, that they're not bothered whether they get promoted this season as it's a long term project. But you can't tell me that, if you don't get promoted this season, the majority of fans will be philosophical about it and say don't worry about it there's always next season. if you don't get promoted after spending all this money on decent League 1 players then surely the manager has failed, after all it's okay shelling out fortunes to get decent strikers but if you're midfield is crap then they're never going to see the ball. As for letting your club have a bit of good fortune, there's only so much goodwill you can give out to opposition fans that go on constantly about how we killed our club and who's official Twitter account takes the piss out of our Wales/England boundary problems. I think we wish your club the same amount of luck that your supporters would wish ours.

Which non-league club wouldn't be if they were being honest? As for your last sentence - I have always wanted Chester to be in the same division - the games are too tasty not to want that and there are more Wrexham supporters who feel the same way as me than you would like to admit.

I absolutely hate you lot with a passion but I'd love nothing more than to be have the Chester vs Rectum games again. Only true fans love the derby games despite the hatred between the two clubs the fans of both relished the home & away fixtures more than any other in the season. That 90th minute winner from Heneghan was one of the most satisfying moments of my life. Won't get that for some time. Shame really.

Over 8700 there yesterday, coupled with Tuesdays attendance, that’s over 17,000 in the space of 4 days. FANTASTIC.

Having a wife who’s a wrexham fan.…the highlight was when the fixtures came out between both clubs…I’m sure wrexham are desperately wanting to go up this season but they are still building and like us they will see some mixed results..but if they don’t manage it this time the team will be fully prepared next season, and really hope this is the same case for us and SW takes us up..

With the state your club is now in do you realy think that our two teams will ever play each other again other than cup games ?
You can live on your very few past glories but we have so many its easy to forget . One thing is certain the National League has never been stronger and anyone of 10 teams could get promoted this season . It will be tough but with our financial backing , massive support and flood lights we are giving it a good go this season. Wrexham has turned from a club that once beat Arsenal to a club so many people know about throughout the world , you and so many other low league clubs can only dream of that !!

Just read they’ve spent more on transfers than 10 championship clubs and have a league one wage bill?
It’s going to make my day when Stockport go up, with a local lad turned millionaire at the helm instead of 2 clowns wanting a Disney plus series out of your club.

I am expecting us not to go up this year tbh. Mostly because the league is as competitive as its been for a long time this season and we are a year behind some of our main rivals in terms of building a team- we might do it but I'm not going to lose my mind when/if it doesn't happen. Next season we will be better than we are this season.
Also, yeah Stockport have a local lad made good as an owner but he's made his money exploiting slave labour built property in Dubai so wouldn't swap, personally. R&R maybe aren't for everyone but most of us are pretty happy with them.

Where did I say that?? I said those moments were great, not that I'm expecting them to happen again anytime soon. Jesus have you been on the booze already celebrating your 1-1 draw with Maidenhead. Also spell the word "really" correctly you illiterate knobhead!

Hahaha fucking dossers. Dont be silly non of us really think thats going to happen. The foundations are being layed for the future with two more back room staff just appointed whose CV,s would impress teams in the Premiership .
Personally I expect we will struggle to go up this season but lets wait and see .
You lot can laugh as much as you want but be honest you are a past football club that is quickly sinking into the quicksand. You have few supporters , little cash if any , no hope of ever playing in England, have a team of very poor players etc etc..
Come to think of it you are the ones that are really funny.

My suggestion .I think WAFC will be in Div 1 of the EFL , CFC will probably be either where you are or with a stroke of luck back in the National League but without a cash injection you will struggle for ever.

In five years i cant see us really moving forward as fan owned but with a sustainable fan base and money in the bank to see us ok.
No idea where you will be, but i think its more likely to be roughly where you are after a season or two of success, and then the Netflix stuff completely gone and interest from the two from over the pond long gone. You will however have a mountain of debt from all of these expensive signings, contracts and backroom staff with impressive CVs.
