Imagine actually encouraging Chester fans to tune into a documentary which will allow them to relive your team’s heartbreak at the end of last season. It’s basically the equivalent of one of us back in 2000 going on the Wrexham message board and telling them they should watch the Granada documentary about Terry Smith… That's going to be a terribly edited doc for the yanks. They'll make out the underdogs missed out despite bottling a cup final and a play off game despite having 3/4x the budget of the teams they were playing. Pay your subscriptions so we can have 4/5x the budget then please lads. You know you’re going to watch it.

The more that pay and watch the better the ratings/ views = more chance of more than two seasons = more money for us. We know you’re going to watch it. (It’s the least you can do after we filled your buckets at our place.)

You’ve had 4 different people as manager in the last 9 months and some of you are calling for the lad form the youth club to go already. Just get your Disney accounts set up for Thursday and chill out lads. Bad nonce you are, you luring the kids of Johnstown in with Disney? Get back to goat passion dreaming of Ben Foster you weird, weird fan base. As opposed to a good nonce? Strange comment. Prince Andrew sympathiser I guess.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62720750Is Reynolds talking about live streaming here? If so, does he realise no clubs are allowed to do that, and it's to help clubs attract people to their grounds on a matchday, which is how you make money if you don't have Hollywood millionaires as owners?

Aye I thought that, clearly not been advised very well by Humphrey.
Wrexham voting Tory and having people called Humphrey running their club, who would have thought it…

I can see his point to a certain extent - if they have a growing profile over there then makes sense to exploit that. The issue is that clever internet folk will always find a way to latch onto streams which can then affect attendance on matchdays (including away followings) and then it's one rule for Wrexham and another for the rest. If there was a way to guarantee that only non-UK audiences can view content then it's feasible, but until that day arrives then they have to abide to the rules everyone else does.

Don't you realise the rules don't apply to Hollywood FC. They think they can do what they like because they have Rob and Ryan at the helm. I'm just waiting for them to start campaigning for the off side rule to be changed so it's easier for Americans and Canadians to understand so they don't have to embarrass themselves anymore. I don't understand why he's getting so excited about this anyway, they're going to be in the EFL by the time the BT Sport deal runs out, aren't they? ?

Ryan Reynolds's has had a colonoscopy to raise awareness and encourage others to have the procedure. He asked what they found up there. Apparently it was 9000 Wrexham fans.

Didn't like a lot about the way Oldham players played against us especially Fondo. I'll forget that and hoping they beat this team who seem to have too much influence on the national league (I use non capitals intentionally).

Dullest tie imaginable to broadcast. Two non-league teams in the same division is not what the 1st Round of the FA Cup is all about. It's a choice aimed at people who don't really like football.

Come on, some of us called it - was nailed on. The fact ESPN jumped on two legs of a qualifier says it all. They’re the Man U of non league now in terms of TV pull.

Don’t know we give them the time of day on this forum, embarrassing we’ve a thread on their next cup game.
I’ll hold them in the same contempt they do us.
A shit stain of a town and football club with more plastic fans than Man City.
Hope they rot in the National League.

150k plus pay day but that’s football. Bit harsh on the teams who actually need the money though, Oldham included in that.

Just about the one crumb of comfort is that AFC Fylde have been overlooked for live TV coverage in the first round despite being drawn at home to long-established Football League opposition in Gillingham. Would have found it utterly stomach churning to have Fylde portrayed on television as some charming little non-league club.

Understand why this was moved however to be fair to the poster who started this thread, I think it was more a "what could've been situation" for us as opposed to another deliberate thread about the goat fuckers.

I see that Mullin has been told off for wearing boots with naughty remarks about the Tories on them. Apparently the Wrexham board have explained that it is being dealt with in house and the club is politically neutral. Couldn't have anything to do with trying to get a hand out from the government for their new Kop development could it?
