A terrible response to Accrington's chairman's criticism from the Premier League, which sounds to me like 'that's all you're getting, take it or leave it'. BBC article

Typical reaction from the premiershite the figures given in the article means the FA is giving away 1.6% to the EFL big deal I wonder what pittance filters down to grassroots as we have all said they dont give a toss about anything outside their own little world

Accrington are 100% correct. The PL is a parasite that is killing it's host.
The founding of the FA Premier League was nothing more than a financial coup. It was designed to ensure that 99% of Football generated revenue, TV/Sponsorship, stays at the top. Football is mirroring the economy that it is embedded in. The cavernous dichotomy between the 1% and the 99%. The PLs relatively minuscule hand outs to the rest of the pyramid being the football version of the trickle down myth
Many people criticise the actions of this football plutocracy. This is totally ineffectual, anyone who cares about the future of English football has to act, don't sign up for Sky/BT live sports contracts, don't buy PL merchandise, and don't go to PL matches. Anything else is just to be a part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Wait so if the premier league give £430k each to every league 2 team, why don't they give any to national league teams? (Unless they do already?)

Probably because we're 'Non-League' and therefore don't matter.
