Has anyone used ChatGPT, Dall.E or any of the other AI tools currently emerging.
ChatGPT is scarily good. I find it quite troubling to be honest. Do we want a situation to develop where books and songs written by computers can compete with ones written by humans? What if you can create realistic looking footage of someone committing a crime? What if people who really do commit crimes can get away with them by claiming the evidence against them is AI-created?
Seems like any positive effect it can have is negligible and gimmicky, while the potential for misery and misuse is enormous. Too much technology now is invented because we can, with little thought given to whether we should.
