Oaks Blue, your comment regarding my sobriety is both uncalled for, and inaccurate, maybe you should stick to things that are relevant. With regards to your comment on editing posts, I joined this forum last night andvi am still getting used to how it works, hopefully others on this forum will be more foregiving and less cynical than you. Ok it was childish of me to assume that you'd had a few drinks. I apologise. Let's get this thread back on topic, how about you suggest some new ideas to improve the matchday experience?

We need to encourage the youngsters down, they will bring their parents with them, create a party atmosphere before the game, utilise the squad players who are not involved in the game that day, and definitely get the Man of the Match into the Blues Bar, I remember the season before last getting one of the players down there to meet a youngster and the look on his face was magical, probably talked about it at school for weeks. Just a few thoughts, there is so much that can be done, but the small band of volunteers we have need as much help as possible.

Puma deal is the worst decision this club has made. I agree with Oaks, things need to change to improve the feeling around the place, it wouldn't be too hard to integrate some of the suggestions either. Not sure regarding players though, not often would you see players integrating after a heavy loss, they are probably equally frustrated. I don't think players in the bar is as big and deal as you say. When I was down south I used to watch Salisbury to get a football fix and their players would have their post-match meal in th e clubhouse bar without fail.

The Blues Bar should be buzzing before a game how hard would it be to get a DJ playing a few tunes in there before a game. The teams could be read out also and maybe interviews with a board member, former player etc etc. Surely it's not too expensive to sort something like that out.
These days if I'm out for a pint pre-match I find it better to stay in town until as late to kick off as possible. Something like the above creating a bit of an atmosphere and I'd definitely go back in there.
