Indeed, like carers who can't get to vulnerable people because the roads are closed, or people who can't get to work, or taxi drivers who can't get to their customers etc etc etc?!!! The route needs changing so the same residents are not adversely affected by every event, or even better let the virtuous trot around the racecourse congratulating themselves until they have covered the relevant distance - then disruption to normal people is minimal. Never read so much dribble. 7 years was it? Good to know I was missed by the sanctimonious, virtue signalling joggers in skin tight pants. Good to be back and thanks for the welcome. |

Advance warning
Chester 10k on March 10th. Some roads will be closed to allow people who like to keep fit the opportunity of having a run on city streets without the chance of being run over.
As one of those runners I would like to wholeheartedly apologise in advance for a couple of hours inconvenience for the people who may want to go to a drive through in their cars and snack out on a burger. I can see how this may affect your human rights 😊
