Not for a minute defending the guy before someone shoots me down but 13 years is a long stretch compared to what people get for manslaughter / drug dealing etc.

Not for a minute defending the guy before someone shoots me down but 13 years is a long stretch compared to what people get for manslaughter / drug dealing etc. It's a far worse crime, considering that manslaughter is often little more than carelessness that has tragic results. These guys sound like they knowingly and premeditatedly conned people out of millions of pounds.

Accept that but I look at the case of Lucas Makula who kicked a pensioner to death and served two years. The rest of the story of this chap I will let you read for yourself, it beggars belief!

Also spent four months in prison back in 1998 for conspiracy to steal from the Post Office when he worked there.
