Another lone wolf with mental health issues is it? I'd like to say I'm shocked and surprised but I'm not. It's regular as clockwork now. I'm sure the usual hashtags and thoughts and prayers and defending of refuges will come along.

I'm sure the usual hashtags and thoughts and prayers and defending of refuges will come along. Not sure what refugees have got to do with it - the perpetrators of the Manchester and Westminster Bridge attacks were both British born. Also, it might seem like it, but it really isn't as regular as clockwork - you're more likely to get killed in a dog attack than you are by a terrorist in the UK.

But actually, that quote is fake news. Please educate yourself.

The momentum that the Labour Party have been enjoying has been halted by the latest vile attack. Shame really and shame for the victims of this atrocity. Whatever the result of the General Election the tide must turn and people on the so called Watch List have to be secured. Whether this is internment or some other method of protecting innocence members of the public I'm not sure. Enough is enough.

I'm honestly not sure there's an answer with terrorism. Whatever any politician says about it, they sound daft. I've never heard anyone, whether a politician or someone in a pub, talk about anti-terrorism measures and thought "yeah, they've nailed it!" And I certainly don't have the answer myself.
There's nothing that can be done if someone chooses to mow a load of people down in a van and doesn't care if he kills himself in the process. We just have to hope our species evolves a little bit and that human decency eventually wins, and the best way to achieve that is to remain as calm, rational and proactive as possible.

Just a word about the concert last night. I'd never heard of Ariane Grande before this tragedy. I really believe that this amazing young woman deserves recognition from our government for being the inspiration behind last night's concert, which was described by Jeremy Vine as the greatest since Live Aid. Well done this young woman, when most Americans were shit scared to come over here at the height of the Troubles.

Well done this young woman, when most Americans were shit scared to come over here at the height of the Troubles. Yes. I couldn't name a song by her but she comes out of it all with a lot of credit. More than can be said for the Eagles of Death Metal after the events at their Paris concert, when their frontman ridiculously argued that it might not have happened if everyone in the venue had had a gun.

Also, I didn't think I could have any less respect for Donald Trump, but I really hope his latest set of pathetic, gun-glorifying tweets have officially put an end to any plans to offer him a state visit. That man is not an ally, he's a nemesis to the entire world.
Imagine the uproar if a British politician had used 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombings as an excuse for wisecracks and cheap political pointscoring.
