Real shame that, thing were looking up after getting promoted and getting a new ground. Unfortunately there are to many idiots in charge of Clubs who treat it as their personal toy. This will only happen more and more .

Even more reason we never go into the reserve funds.
Thankfully we have sound minds in charge because as well run the club is you never know when we will run into similar financial hurdles (bills etc).

A shame. Nice little club, let's hope they get out of it but not with that owner.

Funny how all the clubs round there seem to either be rolling in it (Fleetwood and Fylde) or crisis hit (Morecambe and Blackpool).

They all seemed to be at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village on Wednesday this week. Not sure why.

It is a truly bizarre situation they have currently with an 'accidental' owner with no football experience now trying to keep the club afloat during administration despite saying he never wanted to own it in the first place: I am the ownerSadly it has echos of the farce at Salisbury a few years ago with Outail Touzar, and we know how badly that ended...

You don't want to see any club going under, but the way things are in football and so many crisis clubs in the PL & EFL, it's not long before we will see one of the 92 folding. IF it does happen, only then will you see The FA actually wake up and see what is happening. Their "fit and proper" test that they tried to bring in is fit for FA.
