I quite liked Cortez, although he was sent off 3 times in his season for us. I remember him getting sent off in a battling 0-0 at the Sixfield Stadium. Apparently only able to play for Welsh teams since 2009 after he was sacked by Chippenham Town, who then retained his registration according to Wiki. Shame if he goes to jail.

Not sure how it's a shame if he goes to jail. One less theif/fraudster on the streets suits me fine. Footballer or not, the bloke must be a massive plank to get involved in that.

I will start with Stephen Vaughan junior. Ashley Sestanovich - a very talented player, but I spoke to someone once who said he was literally the biggest idiot he'd ever met! Also Michael Branch, Jimmy Kelly, Paul Taylor, and probably several other Vaughan signings. Matt Doughty had a spell inside which I remember thinking sounded a little unfortunate on his part - something to do with his mate being racially abused and him thumping the culprit? A crime, yes, but I think many would do the same! Also remember something once about Andy Shelton being said to have assaulted a woman, although I think the very basic first version of Devachat was the only source for this so it may not be accurate. |

Danny Carson, who played a couple of first-team games in the late 1990s, was sent down for assault a short time later. Was front page news in one of the local papers.

There are millions of people with not a penny to their name who don't commit a crime. |

I can categorically tell you i would never resort to crime under any circumstances. I think some people do seem to think it's easy money sometimes, normally as a result of laziness to work hard for it. Just opinion. |

Bit of a difference in my book between fraud by taking advantage of your position and having a pint at 17. I didn't say i've never committed a crime, but what i meant was i would never resort to crime to make money, no matter how desperate. Should have made that more clear in fairness. |

Belle was sent off a few times, got booked nearly every match and was banned most of the time. Been released a few times for 'indiscipline'. It's a shame really because he had loads of talent but was one of these players who has attitude and behaviour issues |
