Have lived locally circa 50 years but have never noticed until the last few years the emphatic way Blacon females pronounce the "you" part of thank you.
It's not something I recall from the past but I keep hearing it recently.
Perhaps it was always there and I didn't notice it?

How do you know they’re from Blacon, do they wear a badge or carry a passport?

You Welsh are strange A Welsh man living in chester that is strange, but there again my wife is from chester and she has lived in Wrexham for nearly 50 years you could call that a good move, for me anyway.
