Some Macc fans who I know are really feeling the worst. I've been told that their owner is investing little money into the club and has apparently taken all of the fa cup money and the money from the sales of Paul Lewis and Danny Rowe. They even think that they might die quite soon. I hope not, because they are a nice little club with a good Derby match. Sad times for Macc indeed then.

Yes he is, I've heard off a Macc fan he can play holding midfield too.

It makes sense for McCarthy to be in the market for versatile players who can fill a few positions. If there is any truth in the rumours of Ritchie Sutton then in all honesty I expect Halls to start and right back with Astles and Sutton in the middle and a new left back.

Don't think we'd have got Hannah without 2 year deal to be honest. Offering Halls a 1 year makes sense just in case it doesn't work out for both parties

This is very interesting. If players don't get what they've been promised then their motivation will clearly go. They will move as soon as they can. We may not be the biggest spenders but if we can get a reputation for a solid dependable honest employer then we will stay competitive with the sugar daddy clubs.

We've had two key players returning this season. That is a very healthy sign.

Millington, Storton, Cottam, Raynor, Woodthorpe, Oakes, Graham, Barrow, Sutcliffe, Edwards, Rimmer. If only they could have played together....
