Experienced defender, just what we need. Captain at Macclesfield and turned down a deal there in order to join us. Always good to see he wasn't't released as it shows Macs, a team high in the table, wanted to keep him. Macc fans seem gutted.
Very happy with that signing.

Fair play to McCarthy this is the type of player we need and strengthened our weakest position last season. Experienced at this level but isn't 30+ year old clapped out player.
Seems to have been a bit of a exodus at Macc, no smoke without fire and all that.

if George has not resigned by next friday then Jon should tell him not to resign Higgins messed us about for weeks jon should of set a timescale for current players to resign so he can look elsewhere if they don't i know some are on holiday but they can do it via agents

Interesting reading the range of views on the Mac forum. To some losing Halls to Chester is the beginning of the end and relegation beckons. For others he's average at best and no loss. Nice to know we're not the only set of fans with widely differing opinions about their club 😳

He's a personal trainer and might want to focus on that more; us being part-time (or partially full-time) will help him, and I'd guess for similar money. |
