Lloyds Bank have completed the purchase of MBNA. Hopefully it's just a different name over the door, and nothing else will change.....

It's all a bit worrying. MBNA have been a fantastic sponsor these past 7 years.

Just spoke with Mark Maguire. Existing MBNA deal is secure. So we are good for a couple of years....

Lloyds now biggest employer in Chester by a long way with BoA/MBNA as they have the RBS and former NWS companies too? May also be that whilst Lloyds buy the company, the decision makers re- local marketing may remain in place.

I've just read the chronicle article and it seems as if our partnership with MBNA will end in a couple of years. A shame really because they have been great sponsors for us and are a nice local branch.
